Step 4 ~ The Reset

New segments* are mechanically set into the notched barrel and silver- soldered into place.  All solder joints are inspected for quality. A complete visual inspection and a "run-in", to ensure trueness, occurs prior to leaving this step.  Any unexpected problems are corrected before the bit is shipped.
